Helicon was formed by brothers John-Paul and Gary Hughes in East Kilbride, Glasgow. They signed to Fuzz Club in 2017 and have released 3 studio albums, 2 live albums, 2 EPs and 2 stand-alone singles on the label.

Their 2023 album ‘God Intentions’ won ‘Psych Lovers' Album of The Year’, made the long list for Scottish Album of The Year and earned the band a headline slot at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards.
Helicon are currently booking UK/EU dates for March ‘25 and planning their first US tour for Autumn 2025.
